Happy Year of the Metal Rabbit 2011

Metal Rabbits – Years 1951 and 2011

Metal gives Rabbits more strength, resilience and determination. Metal Rabbits are more intense in their actions, whether they’re work-related or romantic.

A placid year, very much welcomed and needed after the ferocious year of the Tiger. We should go off to some quiet spot to lick our wounds and get some rest after all the battles of the previous year.

Good taste and refinement will shine on everything and people will acknowledge that persuasion is better than force. A congenial time in which diplomacy, international relations and politics will be given a front seat again. We will act with discretion and make reasonable concessions without too much difficulty.

A time to watch out that we do not become too indulgent. The influence of the Rabbit tends to spoil those who like too much comfort and thus impair their effectiveness and sense of duty.

Law and order will be lax; rules and regulations will not be rigidly enforced. No one seems very inclined to bother with these unpleasant realities. They are busy enjoying themselves, entertaining others or simply taking it easy. The scene is quiet and calm, even deteriorating to the point of somnolence. We will all have a tendency to put off disagreeable tasks as long as possible

Money can be made without too much labor. Our life style will be languid and leisurely as we allow ourselves the luxuries we have always craved for. A temperate year with unhurried pace. For once, it may seem possible for us to be carefree and happy without too many annoyances.

My Daddy

Actor Mark Salling, who plays "Puck" on the hit TV series Glee has been spotted enjoying Boracay's party scene since he arrived on the island Christmas Day. On the night of December 25, he was seen dancing at Summer Place. He also dropped by the Christmas party of Manny Pacquiao at the boxing champ's purported resort West Cove that night and even sang a few songs with PacMan and his wife Jinkee. Says Discovery Shores Hotel general manager Jun Parreño, Jr., who took Salling to the party, the Glee star was thrilled to meet Pacquiao, of whom he is a huge fan. Parreño says Salling said he really felt the Christmas spirit in the country, and said, "Filipinos really know how to celebrate Christmas!"
Last night, Salling was spotted at Juice Bar accompanied by his assistant-bodyguard. According to owner Christine San Diego, who took these photos, he stayed for a long time at the bar talking to people, and even gamely tried The Waterfall, Juice Bar's signature flaming drink. Salling is reportedly staying in a resort in Station 3 and leaves Boracay tomorrow, December 28. ~ Photos by Christine San Diego " The Feed"

My New "DADDY"

Mark Wayne Salling

Musician and actor Mark Salling was raised in Dallas, Texas. He attended the Culver Military Academy, but later moved to Lake Highlands High School, where he graduated. He also attended the Los Angeles Music Academy.

While Salling has acted as early as 1996, he has focused on his music career. In 2008 he released his first album, Smoke Signals, under the stage name Jericho. He got his big break the following year, when he joined the cast of Glee as Mohawked jock Noah Puckerman. His success there lead to the release of another album, Pipe Dreams - this time under his real name - which saw some success in the charts.

  •  He plays both the piano and guitar, and has written songs for musicians Josh Green and Danielle McKee.

  •  He's an animal lover. He is a member of the charity James Hunter Wildlfe Rescue.

  • He is a fan of Family Guy and The Simpsons.

  • He was raised in a traditional Christian household, and as such, religion is an influence in his songwriting.

  • Shaving his hair into a mohawk for his audition wasn't the first time he'd done so, but he figured he'd use the look again for his character to see if it made him stand out from others auditioning. He says "Lo and behold, it worked out. And now I'm stuck with it.
